My name is Shelby Green, and I am a current undergraduate student at UC Berkeley! I am passionate about English Literature, and have recent, applicable expertise on the college application process as well as AP Testing.

Bio & Mission Statement

I'm an alumna of the QUEST program at Millikan High School in Long Beach, California! I am an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, and I have fresh knowledge of what it's like to go through the AP Testing and college application process. It's not an easy one, but my goal is to make the process as manageable and uplifting as possible.

 

I am here to provide personalized insight on how to market students and their skills to the fullest extent in the eyes of their prospective colleges; and how to make sure students go into the AP Testing session with the utmost confidence and preparation.

I have a passionate, deep understanding of English Literature and prioritize positive reinforcement in learning. With my experience, I will help students develop foundational English comprehension, analysis, and writing skills that they can apply to almost every other discipline. I love connecting with students and seeing them gain confidence in their own capabilities!

I am a current UC Berkeley student with extensive experience in all areas of reading and writing. I enjoy giving formative feedback to help students develop their strengths and keep them encouraged. My services are targeted towards students of all ages and all skill levels.

Qualifications:

  • Current English Major studying college curriculum

  • 4.43 High School GPA

  • Scored a 5 on AP Literature and AP Language Exams

  • Graduate of the QUEST Program at Millikan High School

  • Experience with Common App, UC, CalState, and Private College Application forums
